News Release PerkinElmer Instruments (ORTEC) and ANTECH
Announce Strategic Alliance in NDA Systems OAK RIDGE, TN, May 4, 2001– PerkinElmer Instruments (ORTEC) and ANTECH
have announced an alliance in the area of non-destructive assay instruments and systems
for waste assay and nuclear safeguards applications. Under the agreement, PerkinElmer will
distribute and support ANTECH-manufactured Gamma-Ray, Neutron and Calorimetry Systems
along with its own ORTEC products. The two organizations are also collaborating in new
product development.
A spokesman said "This alliance is a perfect strategic fit. ANTECH
brings with it a line of well-engineered NDA system solutions, many of which already
employ ORTEC technology, while ORTEC brings the world-wide ‘reach’ of a long
established sales and service network." |
