News Release MatchMaker Upgrades Older MCAs and Resolves Year 2000 Problem MatchMaker, from ORTEC®, provides an instant, low-cost upgrade of aging nuclear spectroscopy MCAs into the 32-bit, Windows® 95/NT Ethernet world, and in the process solves the "Year 2000 problem." The MatchMaker hardware module provides a direct Ethernet interface between a variety of commercial vendors' nuclear ADCs and the very latest 32-bit CONNECTIONS nuclear spectroscopy applications -- GammaVision, AlphaVision, and ScintiVision. CONNECTIONS is ORTEC's software architecture for networked spectroscopy systems, and is based on a standard Windows 95/NT platform. Extensive toolkit support is provided for the system developer. Users may start by upgrading only a single spectroscopy chain to the MatchMaker operation; the system may be expanded into a large scale network by the addition of extra hardware and software modules. |
