Oak Ridge, TN, December 9, 2003 . Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) a division of AMETEK, Inc. announced today that it has received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 certification. The certification was issued after an audit and review by ABS Quality Evaluations, a registrar for the standard. AMETEK- AMT designs and manufactures products for the ORTEC, Princeton Applied Research and Signal Recovery business units.

The ISO 9001:2000 is the most recent revision to the ISO 9000 series standards, which emphasizes the company's overall Quality Management System. The quality standard encompasses the manufacture, design, testing, and service of all ORTEC products sold worldwide.
