TIME ANALYZER Measures Nanoseconds to
Microseconds with Picosecond Precision ORTEC's Picosecond Time Analyzer uses a clever "vernier"
digital-delay technique to measure time periods ranging from nanoseconds to microseconds
with a resolution of 1 (!) picosecond. This makes possible a range of new applications in
LIDAR, time-of-flight mass spectrometry, and fluorescence/phosphorescence lifetime
measurements.
Each Start input triggers a pass through the selected time span, and the
instrument can record multiple Stop inputs during each pass. Burst rates up to 20 MHz can
be accommodated. |
