AMSR 150 Advanced Multiplicity Shift Register

ORTEC announces the AMSR 150 Advanced Multiplicity Shift Register. It incorporates the latest generation of Los Alamos Intelligent Shift Register (ISR) electronics in a package designed to meet the demanding needs of today’s neutron coincidence counting applications in Non-destructive assay (NDA) and safeguards.

Backwards compatibility with the JSR11, JSR12, and PSR, is incorporated as is full compatibility with IAEA Neutron Coincidence Counting (INCC) and the latest Los Alamos Multi-Instrument Collect Program (MIC) for unattended safeguards applications.

AMSR 150 is highly suitable for use in portable applications such as safeguards inspections. Under control of the user-friendly front panel, it has a "feel" which will be familiar to users of traditional shift registers.

When operated remotely, under remote control, AMSR 150 is a buffered, intelligent instrument. Data from multiple runs may be processed and stored inside the instrument should the network be temporarily unavailable; data transmission may be encrypted and authenticated if required.
