Internal PC104 Microprocessor Specifications

Intel 80386  PC104 format EISA Bus.

Operating System  DOS 6.22.

Disk on Chip  73 MB.

Standard Keyboard and VGA Display Connections.

Front-Panel, Display, and Operating Controls

Display  High contrast, back-lit LCD display provides status, parameter settings, and shift register data. Contrast adjustment is via a rotary knob.

Local/Remote  Pushbutton switch toggles between the PSR/JSR emulation mode for use when locally connected to a computer running INCC/WINCC (Local mode) and the AMSR Monitor Mode (REMOTE mode) for network connection to a computer running Multi-Instrument Collect (MIC). In local mode, JSR emulation is also provided. When in "local" mode all user access is via the AMSR 150 front panel.

Keypad  The four-key, single-row KEYPAD has two modes, setup and operate, controlled by a front-panel toggle switch. In setup mode, the functions are UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW, ENTER, and END in order to navigate the easy-to-use menus. In operate mode, the functions are UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW, RESET, and START/STOP.

Adjust  Rotary knob is included for user input of parameters, such as count time, time of year, pre-delay, and high-voltage settings.

PCMCIA  Front-panel slot will accept any Type 1 or Type 2 PCMCIA card, intended for removable flash memory storage cards.

High Voltage  Locking toggle switch enables/disables high voltage.

AC Power  On/off rocker switch.

Front-Panel LED Indicators

Signal  Shows signal input active.

Processor  Shows processor is active.

AUX1  Shows auxiliary scaler 1 active.

AUX2  Shows auxiliary scaler 2 active.

+5V  Shows +5 V is present.

High Voltage  Shows HV in on.

Local  Illuminates when the AMSR 150 is in local mode.

Rear-Panel Connectors

HV  SHV male, 2000 V, 500 mA maximum.
